It is always exciting to introduce a new collection to our stockists. The FabEvent in Melbourne is an annual trade show that features all the latest fashion wholesalers and distributors. It is now combined with a gift fair so as a boutique owner you can not only see all the latest offerings, but find some unique upsell items all under one roof.
After all the Covid lockdowns, we will never take for granted how wonderful it is to meet with our fabulous boutique owners. Even though our brands produce the most fabulous catalogues to help our customers decide on which items they want to stock, nothing beats being able to see and touch the new swimsuits and truly appreciate how well they are made and admire some of the intricate prints they have.
We ask that our customers who will be visiting the fair to book an appointment time so that we can spend uninterrupted time with you and help put together your orders on the spot if needed. It is also a great opportunity to answer questions that you may have.
We also make sure that our New Zealand stockists don't miss out on the same viewing opportunity, we arrange private viewing sessions in Auckland.
This year's visit was not without its trials, including an ex tropical cyclone bringing so much rain and an earthquake that rocked the city just added to the excitement!
As a boutique owner, you would be able to attend either of these events as a tax-deductible getaway. The FabEvent is always held in February and then we travel over to Auckland in the week following. When you are doing your business plan for the next financial year, why not treat yourself to a fun getaway if you don't live locally.
