This recipe is great to get you going in the morning, or as an alternative to coffee and chocolate when afternoon energy slump hits.

Energy boosting smoothie

 Use a Nutribullet or blender to make a delicious drink.

1/2 a pineapple

1 banana

4 mint leaves

1 apple

1 carrot

1/2 can of coconut water

This blend is really refreshing and will give you a fabulous boost to get on with your day.

It is better to use a blender and not a juicer to make this recipe so that you get the benefit of all the fibre and not just drink the juice.
