Don’t let winter hold you back!
Inflammation is the root cause of much of the pain we can experience in our body. The colder months can really play havoc with arthritis and the like. This super drink will not only warm you up but contains some of the most powerful natural anti-inflammatory agents available. This recipe is quick and easy to make and is ideally taken at night before heading to bed so the potent ingredients can go to work whilst you sleep.
1 can of Coconut Milk plus 1 cup of water
1 teaspoon Turmeric
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon raw honey or maple syrup or to taste
Pinch of black pepper (increases absorption)
Tiny piece of fresh, peeled ginger root or ¼ tsp ginger powder
Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until well combined.
Pour into a small sauce pan and heat for 3-5 minutes over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
